To start, each square on the scorecard represents a player's at-bat. Write the player's number in the top left and their position in the top right. As the game progresses, use symbols and lines to track plays. For example, mark a single with "1B" and a line to first base. If a player reaches second on an error, write "E" with the fielder’s number and draw the line to second.
Track runs by outlining and filling the base path from third to home. Keep a running tally in the score section.
For pitching, record each pitch and track balls, strikes, and outs. Regularly update the pitcher's stats, including innings, hits, runs, walks, strikeouts, and earned runs.
